The first World Chaine Day celebrated in Hong Kong extended from 7pm until 2am at the Mira Hotel thus sharing the occasion with Bailliages in numerous time zones.

At the reception canapés of a crab crisp with coconut, pomelo, wasabi, as well as a snail croquette with garlic butter, were mouth-watering. More-ish cocktails on offer were either “Flight to Kai Tak” - tequila, fresh lime juice, fresh orange juice, maple syrup, crème de cassis, or “Harbour Front” - rum, fresh lime juice, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, burnt rosemary twig.

The celebratory dinner was a spectacular success. In the true spirit of Chaîne camaraderie, members and guests enjoyed a unique “Life is art” degustation menu with each course complemented by a carefully-chosen wine.
