Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition 2017

Bailliage of Germany
Frankfurt am Main, September 8, 2017

For full details please visit the Chaîne's Competitions website

With a profound respect for the values and traditions of cuisine and fine dining, the Chaîne encourages and supports the training of young chefs worldwide through its International Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition'.

The first international final was organized in Switzerland in 1977. Forty years on, as relevant as ever the goal is to encourage and promote the cultural diversity in food preparation and presentation whilst using and applying a traditional approach.

Hosting this year’s event will be the Bailliage of Germany. The IB Hotel Friedberger Warte in Frankfurt am Main will host the competition and provide accommodation for the young chefs.

The presentation of awards, the Induction Ceremony and the celebratory Gala Dinner will be at the headquarters’ establishment for the International Final: the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof.

Many people travel through Frankfurt as it is a major transportation hub. It is certainly worth lingering in the 2000-year-old city as it has much to offer: the business and financial district skyscrapers, the River Main, a famous opera house, thriving theatre district, zoo, pedestrian shopping street, parks, scores of bars and night clubs, and more than 50 museums.

Looking forward to welcoming you in September!

David Tétrault
Chair, International Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition Committee
Member of the Conseil d’Administration
